Youth Program "Bring a Friend to the Dojo" 2012:

This exciting exercise builds greater confidence, leadership, and public speaking skills. Host students (must be white sash or above) invite a friend to participate in a youth class at the dojo.

The host-student carries out a variety of responsibilities during the exercise (showing the guest everything from where to place shoes/coats, bowing in, signing in, lining up, introducing his/her friend to fellow students, and so on). During the class, the host student will be featured performing some of his/her particular strengths in the practice. Guest students must be at least six years of age, and the visit must be scheduled ahead of time.

Detailed information on this exercise and Guest Student Parental Consent Forms are available via email to the parents of all qualified I.P.M.A. youth students.
