Head Instructors:
Christopher Scafone has studied Yue Chia Kung Fu since 1994, Yoga since 1995, Tai Chi since 1997. He has also earned ranks in Karate and Aikido (teachers include Lee Beusking, Katsumi Niikura, Frank Merditaj, and Thomas F. Smith). Christopher Scafone is the first and only individual to achieve the ranks of 3rd, 4th, and 5th degree black sash under Thomas F. Smith in the art of Yue Chia Kung Fu.
Robyn Scafone has studied Yue Chia Kung Fu since 1997 and Yoga since 1999. She holds a 3rd degree black sash in Yue Chia. Mrs. Scafone is a lifelong artist whose photography, paintings, and illustrations continues to grow in popularity throughout the United States and Europe.
The Scafone's founded Infinite Path Martial Arts in 2002. I.P.M.A. is a private learning institution dedicated to the study of martial arts and yoga for the primary purpose of personal growth and self-improvement. The Scafone's have helped thousands of students of all shapes, sizes, and experience-levels enjoy the many benefits of serious martial arts training. The Scafone's have a proven track record in helping children with special needs.
Assistant Instructors: Pillars of the I.P.M.A. Learning Environment:
As individuals and practitioners, the assistant instructors of I.P.M.A. are excellent. Each holds a black sash in the art. Aside from their own unique qualities and wealth of skills, I.P.M.A. assistant instructors participate in a comprehensive, rigorous, ongoing training in the art of teaching. Individuals new to our school will find all of our student teachers to be knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional at all times.
Mr. Newcomb has studied martial arts since 1983, Yue Chia since 2000. He holds a black sash in the art. Mr. Newcomb is a husband and father of two sons in our youth and adult programs.
Mr. Thornton has been studying Kung Fu and Tai Chi with Infinite Path since 2004. He holds a black sash in Yue Chia. He is a father of two and his son, Nick, practices in the adult program. Mr. Thornton is an integral part of Youth Kung Fu Camp.
Mr. Givental practiced different martial arts since xxxx, and has studied Yue Chia since 2000. He holds a black sash in the art. He has a master's degree in computer science and works in software development. He also teaches computer science at Lawrence Technological University.
